Cobkeskill Wal-Mart Wet Floor Signs

Wal-Mart in Cobleskill seems to have an obsession with these CAUTION — WET FLOOR orange pyramids. Here in this original wet floor pyramid, we see the first one I spotted and took a picture of; it was in the Fall of 2002.

Above: This wet floor caution pyramid was found in the rear mens room at the Cobleskill, New York Wal-Mart Supercenter. I came back a few days later and it was still there. In fact, it was there for a few weeks. Who would have thought that the floor of the restroom might be wet?

Fortune Cookie

“You have a curious smile
and a mysterious nature”,
States the fortune cookie.
It knows not
the effect the words have on me
for it sums up my entire life
in two lines
then gives me some lucky numbers
as just as same.
It is but a small piece of paper
which knows not of my many adventures
nor does it know of my personality.
It knows not of the many things
which are said about me.
It knows not even of the dog tag I wear
which plainly states,
“Slatin, Thomas EMT-D”,
yet this one small piece of paper
knows my life complete.
