Writing Dreams & Aspirations
Every writer strives to create the best and most influential works of all time. However, most of what a good writer writes isn’t groundbreaking or world-renound at all. A truly good writer is one who rejects much of what they write to select what is truly good work. A true master takes this selected work and improves upon it till it reaches its peak at which any further manipulation might utterly reduce it back to worthlessness.
I myself confess that I am not yet a master for I have yet to develop such skill and devotion. In other art forms such as photography and cinematography I am nothing more than an experienced amateur. One may only call oneself after many years of trial, tribulation, failure, and success, for true mastery is to form total harmony and perfection on the first and only attempt.
My true quest is to become a master before I die, for in doing so, work is left behind to be revered and cherished long after death. This is known as leaving something behind a legacy. Life is so much more than a job or work or even money. Life is a journey that should be taken seriously. Your path is shaped by infinite numbers of decisions, each of which is half chance. If ever you wonder if your journey has come to an end, if you’re still here, it hasn’t.
