The Delaware Inn Noir Vignette

The Delaware Inn Noir Vignette

Just because a blog is extreme, doesn’t necessarily mean that the photography displayed within it can’t be extreme as well.  Take this photo for example.  I took this photo by pressing the lens up to the glass, cupping my hands around the camera, and snapping several photos at different ISO settings just to get the desired effect.  The effect was not only a reflection of myself, but a reflection of the street behind me.  Viewing photos on a tiny LCD screen on the back of a camera doesn’t allow one to properly judge the quality of a photo.  It wasn’t until I arrived home and loaded the image on my computer that I realized that all the trial and error of changing settings for about half an hour really paid off!
