Flickr Group
As soon as I installed Snazzy Archives to make my archive page nicer, I realized that I’d need a lot more photos for my posts. The problem is that often times, I just can’t find the perfect photo, or one that would support the context the way it should.
I’ve gotten requests over the years to feature work by other authors and photographers, and now I have found a way to implement this (for photographs, anyway), while at the same time, giving credit where it’s due without infringing on copyrights or hurting feelings.
A group has been created on Flickr for just this. If you’re looking to get your photographs displayed on this blog, simply submit them for consideration. While I can’t gurantee that your photo will be used, posting it here is the only way in which I will consider using it.
Thanks to everyone who has submitted a photo! Please don’t be discouraged, this website is updated frequently, so chances are, your work will be shown [eventually].
Photographers can be a picky bunch. If for whatever reason, you no longer wish to have your work featured, please email me and it will be removed immediately. When contacting me, please include the post’s URL (http://www.tomslatin.com/blah-blah-blah). These are the posts with photos taken from the Flickr group. Alternatively, you can leave a friendly comment on the post as well.
