    6th Grade, And Other Mishaps

    Sixth grade started like any other year of public school, except for the fact that my teacher had received word that I was a, “gifted student”, and therefore, expected more of me than most of the other students in my grade.  Public school was a breeze, and getting good grades never required any sort of work whatsoever, so I was anticipating 6th grade to be a breeze.  From day 1, it was a nightmare.My first day in 6th grade, the teacher decided to assign seating arrangements based on geographical locations.  I had always experienced great difficulty with maps, and geospacial information in general, which is why I use electronic versions…
