Disclaimer of Liability for Free Events
By attending (“The Event”), you acknowledge and agree to the following disclaimer of liability:
- Assumption of Risk:
Participation in the Event is voluntary, and by attending, you acknowledge and assume all risks associated with your participation. You understand and agree that the event organizer(s) and any affiliated partners, sponsors, volunteers, and staff members (collectively referred to as “the Organizers”) shall not be held liable for any injury, loss, damage, or harm that may occur during the Event, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, or theft. - Personal Responsibility:
You are responsible for your personal belongings and actions during the Event. The Organizers shall not be held liable for any loss, theft, damage, or injury resulting from your negligence, non-compliance with event guidelines, or failure to exercise reasonable care while attending the Event. - Release of Claims:
By attending the Event, you release the Organizers, their directors, officers, employees, volunteers, and agents from any and all claims, demands, causes of action, suits, or liabilities of any kind, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, or loss arising out of or in connection with your participation in the Event. - Event Changes and Cancellations:
The Organizers reserve the right to modify, reschedule, or cancel the Event at any time and for any reason. They shall not be held liable for any inconvenience, costs, expenses, or damages incurred as a result of such changes or cancellations. - Photography and Filming:
Please be aware that photographs, audio recordings, and video footage may be captured during the Event. By attending, you consent to the use of your image, likeness, and voice in promotional materials, marketing collateral, or future event documentation without compensation or further consent. - Governing Law:
This disclaimer of liability shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of The State Of Vermont. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with this disclaimer shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Vermont.
By attending the Event, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms of this disclaimer of liability. If you do not agree with any provision of this disclaimer, please refrain from participating in the Event.
