Ellen Goodman Quote

“Normal is getting dressed in clothes that you buy for work, driving through traffic in a car that you are still paying for, in order to get to a job that you need so you can pay for the clothes, car and the house that you leave empty all day in order to afford to live in it.”

Pretty pessimistic way of looking at things, but I’m sure many could relate. That’s why you shouldn’t strive for normal. You should strive for unique and to find a job that is self-fulfilling.

I think that is very true. Normal is something that people just have to do but looking for unique and related to your passion is something rewarding.

It is a way of seeing the slavery of the 21st century, you live to work and work to live…
That is why living is not about material things but having someone to share the good times with and enjoy the little free time that society offers us.

I agree in the technical aspect. Weird is it not we always do our best for things but we just leave it most of the time.

There are some people who cannot relate and who can’t realize the meaning of something normal and true, while you are on your own shoes try to realize your importance. But sometimes all we have to do is to expand our knowledge and uniqueness. We should learn to share the values that we have and by living you need to have an open door for everyone. You have your own business but learn to care for others.

I totally agree with it. It is the reality of life. It is just a cycle of life as well, you need to work just to live and you live to work.

Yeah, we must get every thing together to be able to have the clothes, car, house and every other things from the job we are doing. It’s a normal thing.
