I’m an American girl. I navigate life with a blend of intellectual curiosity, feminine energy, and an unyielding will. My existence stems from deep conversations, creative pursuits, and a lifestyle honed by years of service as a Firefighter and Paramedic Lieutenant. Each day, I strive to balance the intensity of my decades of hard work with the joyous spontaneity of play, all while embracing the secrets that make my journey uniquely my own.
Intellectual curiosity is the cornerstone of my being. I thrive on exploring new ideas and engaging in conversations that challenge my mind and expand my horizons. My passion for photography and writing is not merely a hobby but a way to capture the essence of the world around me and express the ever elusive thoughts that race through my mind.
Moving with purpose and grace, I embody feminine energy in everything I do. This energy goes beyond physical movement, but about the intention and presence I bring to every interaction and endeavor. My years as a firefighter and paramedic have instilled in me a resilience and strength that complements my graceful approach to life. Even though I officially retired at age 40, I maintain an active lifestyle, embracing challenges and adventures that keep me physically and mentally invigorated.
Laughter is the soundtrack of my life, especially when I am with my beloved wife, Amelia. Our moments together are filled with genuine joy and a deep connection that transcends words. She is my anchor, my confidante, and the source of my happiness.
While I am often seen as quiet and reflective, there is a fire within me that fuels my passions. My photography captures not just images but emotions, stories, and the fleeting, often overlooked beauty of moments. Writing allows me to articulate my thoughts, share my insights, and connect with others on a deeper level.
I’m still the queerest person I know.

This diary entry was inspired by a question posed by Content Catnip—how I would describe myself to someone who can’t see me?
As always, beautifully written and profound!
Thank you so much, Cate! ❤️
