My friend Darlene has a passion for collecting trinkets and objects of curiosity began when she was young, like so many other collectors! She’s made it her mission to seek out unique and odd items at second-hand stores, flea markets, and auctions as often as possible. Because she’s always on the lookout, she has been able to find countless curiosities. Recently, Darlene and her husband Jonathan invited me to see them at their house in Upstate New York. Darlene is a talented artist, and I have been friends since she was a teenager, and it was wonderful to see her again, fully immersed in her element, happy, and successful.
