Susan Winebrenner Quote On Intelligence

Real intelligence is a creative use of knowledge, not merely an accumulation of facts. The slow thinker who can finally come up with an idea of his own is more important to the world than a walking encyclopedia who hasn’t learned how to use this information productively.

Excellent quote, Tom. I know several people with degrees who are arrogant idiots. Having a degree does not guarantee intelligence, common sense, or the ability to use knowledge.

Intelligence is beyond the academe. It’s not just all about the textbook, it’s about how you apply and use what you learn.

This is so true, the world doesn’t just want people with knowledge within but those that can turn their little knowledge into something profitable.

This quote is absolutely true. It is about how to apply it in real life situations. We can have a broad mind like thw galaxy but can’t use in life. I would rather be wise than knowledgeable.

The world should take this quote seriously to make it better. Put your knowledge to test, don’t just walk around with it doing nothing.

I really like the point you addressed. It’s the innovators who think outside of the box that make the largest impact.

I agree. If I may ad, at times true intellect also means just having common sense. And I truly believe that since in reality all those math are not applicable after school.

I totally agree with you. It doesn’t matter how much you know, if what you know cannot help you solve your problems, then there is no difference between you and th one who has no clue.

Sadly, most of the world thinks that a walking dictionary is the epitome of intelligence. Little do they know that the unknown guy in his little shop, tinkering with stuff is more intelligent than those who are so-called well-read.

This is so true..if you have knowledge and you don’t use it, then you are useless..what’s the use of having so much knowledge and not being able to apply it to solve some human problems
