Shounen Jump? It is a basically a Japanese Comic book. It is one of my favorites because it goes hand in hand with the anime phenomenon. Come to think of it the whole comic book as a genre qualifies in this?

To be honest, I don’t really like reading books. So I don’t remember a single book title that caught my attention. But it would be a different story if I was asked about my favorite film / music. 🙂

The Boy in the Striped Pajamas, although the main characters are children, this book is actually intended for adults or at least teenagers and is set during the Holocaust in World War II. This is the only book that has shocked me myself for a moment because the ending of the story was completely unexpected.
