Always be cautious, sometimes the one you trust is the one who’s pulling you down. Like the lesson in this photo, though it would’t be understood without the caption, it’s perfect.
You really should not trust people 100%. You should learn to be cautious of close friends and even family. Anyone can take your kindness for granted, anyone can play you for a fool.
This is one of the rooms on the 4th floor of the Scotch Mist Inn in Stamford, NY! In fact, it could possibly have been my room in 1971! Ski Instructors from Scotch Valley Ski Area stayed here in exchange for entertaining NYC ski groups in the evenings while bartending and waiting. Lots of wonderful memories here. So sad to see the once grand place falling into ruin.

the caption is so not explaining the photo I’m seeing, but whatever it is the photo was well shot and sharp too.

I still trying to rap my brain on this illustration. Shouldn’t we believe what’s always behind that shade? Lovely output Thomas

The effect of the lightening casting a shadow of the folded material. Nice concept, no one can tell what’s behind a closed door

What a mindful and meaningful photo for the mind. Nice and brilliantly taken shoot.

Could the title be about the door, it seems it will soon carve in. With that it is highly not dependable.

Is it in an attic? That window can fit a person. That is a crooked window.

Love the composition of the picture. The vignette adds a melancholic feeling to the photo.

Everyone should believe in himself. you don’t have to believe in others.

Very lonely place, it reminds me of a movie called flowers in the attic.

The last time I watched Flowers In The Attic was in 1997.

This place feels dark and creepy. Old attics are scary.

The shadows create a lovely effect. Very well done Thomas.
Patricia
There’s too much glare from the window. The light is too much.
Oliver
Looks like there is a bit of overexposure towards the window. It looks too bright.
Daphne
SUch a lonely room. It looks very mysterious too.
Teddy
I can’t make out what this is. It looks like a spare from a car.
Louis
The title is very cryptic. I can’t relate it to the photo.
Shantel
It must have been very sunny. Too much light seeping in through the window.

The wallpaper appears to be peeling off. This place is rather old.
Storm
The room doesn’t look very tidy. Debris is strewn all over the floor.
Sylvia
Most of what we see could be illusions. The title strikes the nail on the head.

This is the former Madison Building in Stamford, New York. I was given permission to photograph the building, and it was demolished in 2021.
