  1. That railyard’s probably seen better days. It looks more like a dump right now, and chances are that those railcars will never get to move again.

    What a pity.

  2. I’m seeing a lot of abandoned railyards lately, it seems with the phasing out of train transport here the yards are abandoned naturally.

  8. Looks like an abandoned rail yard picnic! Nice colorful wholesome photo. Lots of special elements like the sky, the trees and the barrels.

  9. That’s a very interesting picture. It’s amazing how even the train and pieces are deteriorated and left behind, those beautiful colors create perfect harmony and balance.

  10. It is very common now a days that rail yards were abandoned. They were probably abandoned for some reasons. But just look at the picture, the materials were still looking good. It just probably need some polish. Or they could use it for other purposes also.
