Intimacy

Intimacy is not who you let touch you. Intimacy is who you text at 3am about your dreams and fears. Intimacy is giving someone your attention, when ten other people are asking for it. Intimacy is the person always in the back of your mind, no matter how distracted you are. —Unknown

  1. Wow, I am really happy to see such picture. I can still remember the day when I got married to the woman of my dreams.

  2. People do really misunderstand intimacy, they feel it is the one who touches them or whom they have sexual relationship with that defines intimacy. But intimacy is more than just touching, it is understanding whom you are with, having a sense of connection emotionally and physically. I have experienced such intimacy and it is a great experience.

  3. Such a cute, candid photo and touching message behind it. This is the first time I’ve seen one of your photos include people in it. I love that your expanding your horizons with your photography. This is especially heartwarming material with all the intangibles on what intimacy means between partners.

  4. I have to agree. There is more to it than being physical but it is a part of the game so to speak. However, with this crisis we may have to rely on connections beyond it. The crisis forces us to do so.

  5. Intimacy is something that many people look for, but often difficult to find. The intimacy we feel with our partners can make all of life’s problems feel lighter and easier.

  6. Intimacy is sharing more than your physical self to someone. It’s sharing your inner self and soul to that someone.

  7. Well, I completely agree with this point. There is no denying that this intimacy concerns all aspects, be it physical, emotional, mental and spiritual.

  8. I really think this is true. Some people are in a relationship but still text other people. Some people can’t be physically be together but they always try to communicate. what a wonderful quote. Very true to my situation.
