I love this! I told a friend once about these. Where I grew up we had a line out back for drying our clothes and these were on the ends of the wood posts that the line was run between. 🙂 Great photo of a fantastic childhood memory of mine. 🙂
These are electrical insulators commonly found on utility poles. If you look around abandoned industrial sites or places where there is a lot of forgotten utility lines, you will likely come across a few of these.
