I can imagine at one time this place was really, really nice and people paid a ton of money to go there! It’s sad how a lot of places in upstate New York and Pennsylvania have decayed to such a degree 🙁
I like resorts especially those with animals one can tend to This look good all the same it’s a nice place to be.
It´s too sad that this place got abandoned. I’m sure it brought a lot of fun moments to many people in the past.
This resort isn’t looking bad at all. But it looks like the photo was taken in winter looking at how the whole environment is
This resort looks nice and not bad though. From the look of the picture, the resort looks unkept to some extent. I love the photograph output.
Not bad at all. It just needs a major upgrade an inside outside makeover. The pool needs cleaning and of course people to bring it to life. This is still usable too bad it is now abandoned.
It is a nice place to stay. It is also unfortunate that it is not in function.
What, I pains me to see great places abandoned. I just hope this isnt as a result of COVID. What a pity.
Abandoned resort, I wish it could be put back to work. Filled with memories absolutely
That is a hefty pool. I’m sure it was a beautiful resort back in its day. Time to revamp it.
There was a time when this place was very visited I cannot understand why it was forgotten.
What a beautiful looking resort. It’s a pity it was abandoned.
This needs to be fixed up. It looks too good to just be abandoned.
A wasted investment. I am certain a lot of money went into constructing the resort.
The resort is a caricature of its former self. What a horrid state it is in!
The pool must have been so beautiful. I wish I could see the resort when it was still new.
Beats me why this resort was abandoned. I guess we’ll never know.
I think I have heard of Penn Hills Resort before. I just never knew it was no more.
I can imagine tourists enjoying themselves in this beautiful resort. It’s sad that may never be the case.
I hope the resort gets revived some day. It is a great part of history.
This looks like a good investment opportunity. If I had the money I would buy up the resort and revive it.
Did you get photos of the inside of the resort too? I would love to have a look at them.
