I have always felt a strong desire, a compulsion, a quest to create iconic photography. A recent visit to an art gallery, I viewed an exhibit of Dorothea Lange’s iconic photography, which only served to fuel my desire.
I have spent the majority of my time searching for that one epic photograph, and although I have come close, I still have not yet found what I am searching for, although I have a very good concept of what I wish to capture, if I could only capture it.
Iconic photography by its very nature captures our attention. It captivates us. It commanders our attention and will not let go.
As it relates to photography, I have my own (secret) to-do list. As far iconic photography is concerned, this subjects is but a very small portion of my list.
