I am wondering, what’s there to regret? Was it how they lived or where they lived. Who ever lived there sure did leave in a hurry to leave all these stuff behind.
That’s a lot of junk lying around. Possibly filled with a lot of regrets about actions and paths that were not taken in Life. A fate that most of us would do well to avoid. You should never die with immense regrets in your heart, nor leave a house filled with the junk to match that level of regret.
I can only imagine the memories that might happened in there before it was abandoned. Nice photograp anyway. Sometimes you don’t need a clean and organized subject to capture to have a perfect shot, sometimes it has to be disorganized as it is for us to know the story.

For a deserted spot this does not look so bad. A bit of cleaning and fixing should do the trick. Not as ruined as I imagine and that is a good thing.
