A very strong saying I would say, but being born in a particular country doesn’t determine how free you would be. Freedom is a thing of the mind.

It’s not all alone for America. It’s the world we are living in. Just being slave of our lives.

I can totally relate and understand this, some things in life seem to be illusion, they more we run after it, the more it elude us.

Its like when you are a child, you want to grow up so that you can have all the freedom that grown ups have. Only to grow up and realize even them they are not that free.

America is one of the countries with the best democracies in the world. In other countries, they are slowly trying to emulate it.

I think everyone is born bound. Bound to your parents which you did not chose.

It’s nice to be able to live in a free country. Some people do not experience freedom. Feel blessed that you are able to do what you want to do in life because not all have that privilege.

I believe we all feel that way because with adulthood comes greater responsibilities. Something that we do not have as a child thus, more questions. However, it all depends on how we handle it.

I wouldn’t mind hearing you expand on that and why your feelings of freedom are limited all of a sudden. I guess once you go down a path, it’s harder to change it as you get older, but trying new things like traveling, outdoor sports or taking new classes are always available. The amount you can learn is endless in life and to me that feels a lot like freedom.

It is the same experience with me and the rest of the world. Well sometimes I just wonder if it just a notion too.

This quote is so true. We are never really free. A lot of aspects of our lives are still controlled.

In my opinion freedom is a state of mind. Once you feel free in your mind then you are truly free.

You’re right. Been liberated is something that comes from the heart….you must have to admit and believe that it is real before a man can actually attain the freedom. Freedom is good!

I guess the country can give us freedom, but only each person decides if wants to be free or not, all depends in the personal decitions and choioces.
