As I nestled into the tranquil embrace of Vermont’s secluded wilderness in 2020, I found myself yearning to escape the relentless pace of modern life and reconnect with the sanctuary of my inner muse. My heart was set ablaze with a fervent desire to craft words that would dance across the page like the golden autumn leaves swaying in the gentle breeze outside my window.
Driven by this profound longing, I embarked on a journey of self-discovery and creative expression, hidden behind a veil of physical anonymity that allowed me to explore the depths of my imagination without the distractions of the world beyond.
It was this morning, during these quiet moments of reflection that I began to realize that the magic of the written word were the whispers of the heart and could be shared in more ways than one. In addition to the intimate musings of my personal blog, I felt a powerful urge to weave my thoughts and experiences into a canon of literary artistry—to create books that would touch the hearts and minds of those who sought solace in the tender embrace of a captivating story.
As I embark on this new chapter of my creative journey, I realize that it was essential to strike a delicate balance between the enchanting allure of the printed word and the intimate connection fostered through the digital realm. I understand that while writing books will allow me to delve deeper into the realms of my imagination and share my stories with the world, my blog remains a sacred space for candid reflection and self-expression.
I made a promise to myself — to continue nurturing the intimate bond I have formed with my readers through my blog, while also weaving intricate juxtapositions of prose that would transport them to new worlds and inspire their hearts to soar. By honoring both the boundless potential of the written word and the transformative power of digital connection, I will not only satisfy my own creative yearnings but also touch the lives of those who found solace in the stories I have to share.

It’s great that you have this clear promise you’d like to keep. I have my ups and downs, and sometimes question the promises I make to myself. Fortunately, some things turn into routine so I don’t need to overthink the promise. But other things do take much more effort to maintain. Anyway, thanks for this post!
Thank you, Stuart! As I stand at the precipice of a new chapter in my life, I am filled with gratitude for the mentorship and guidance of the great Allen Ginsberg who believed in me when I was but a young girl with a dream.
(More on this later… Your comment has given me an idea for something I need to write in my diary…)
