I woke this morning to see a trailer of hay parked by my apple tree. The smell of fresh cut grass from the trailer, mixed with the scent of apples as it sat in my yard all day, was incredible. It has made me start thinking about how much can change in a year and how many more changes are yet to come. When I see the harvest from my neighbors land, I am reminded that winter is again on its way.
